Choosing your pattern size is the most important step and we will help you determine this with these easy to follow steps.
Place the tape at the edge of the shoulder. Measure along the top of the shoulder blade/across the highest point of the shoulders to the other edge, following the natural slope and allow an extra finger for ease of any movement.
This point is taken as a circumference at your widest point of your upper arm.
This point is taken as a circumference parallel to the floor at the fullest part of your chest.
This point is taken as a circumference and taken at the smallest part of your waist.
This point is taken as a circumference parallel to the floor at the widest part of your hips.

I initially didn’t like this style on me. I found it too heavy around the hip line for someone who already carries their weight there. I redid the feature pockets to cut out the drape and made it clean lines but kept the pockets. Love it now. Light rayon fabric again.

Perfect fit, used a light rayon. Used the placket in the front but sewed the buttons straight through so no need for button holes.. Also used elastic in the back as I can’t get round to tie it up. elegant!

I love this unique dress. I made it in a soft silk blend and it looks stunning. It came together beautifully and was a surprisingly easy make, though I had to do a bit of thinking to work out the pocket instructions. I left out the buttoned placket at the front neck and just made a simple round neckline, since I like the unadorned style better. I also made a full bust adjustment, but otherwise no alterations were needed for my usual StyleArc size. I’m already planning my next version!

I have now made 4 winsome dresses! All in viscose.
Very flattering , love them all, and perfect for warm weather
I made them sleeveless and omitted the front opening.
Made them one size smalller than my measurements suggest, and made some personal fitting – round back, broad back,fba, smaller upper chest.
To me this pattern is not «win some», rather «win all»
