Choosing your pattern size is the most important step and we will help you determine this with these easy to follow steps.
Place the tape at the edge of the shoulder. Measure along the top of the shoulder blade/across the highest point of the shoulders to the other edge, following the natural slope and allow an extra finger for ease of any movement.
This point is taken as a circumference at your widest point of your upper arm.
This point is taken as a circumference parallel to the floor at the fullest part of your chest.
This point is taken as a circumference and taken at the smallest part of your waist.
This point is taken as a circumference parallel to the floor at the widest part of your hips.

Great fit except for around my hips. Don’t care for too close fit there as I have some excess baggage there. Simply adjusted sides to add a bit more fabric. Will definitely do again.

This is an excellent tee shirt pattern … goes together very quickly. I agree with some of the other reviews that it is a closer fit than shown in the picture. I have already made several tee shirts from this pattern and love them all! Highly recommend.

I chose to make this out of a cotton knit jersey. Maybe it’s not the best choice of fabric as I have had a few problems with the hem facing sitting flat. I think a thinner fabric would work best. It’s a great design though, will try different fabric.
Stylearc are beautiful patterns, they always fit well and are very cleverly designed. However the lack of detail in the instructions is always very frustrating. I wish this would be addressed!

I enjoyed using this pattern for my client. I did fully line this shirt and adjusted neck, sleeves and hem to include binding at the edges. Of note, the sleeve notches are placed on the front of top and sleeve pattern pieces (I am used to these being on the back side so I put the the first sleeve on backwards before I noticed my mistake). The fit was great for my client.

A wardrobe staple.
I have made 3 T shirts so far and am pleased with the results.
The knit fabric was quite stable with not much stretch so I used the larger of the pattern set.
Easy to sew.

This is my perfect tee pattern! I like how it’s fitted around the bust, but a little looser around the waist. I must’ve made at least 10 already for myself and am now buying a smaller size to make more for a friend. Would definitely recommend!

I like this pattern. Quick make with lots of possibilities depending upon fabric choice, trims and any added block colors. I bought a slightly smaller size (26) and did a full bust adjustment which had the benefit of increasing the hip circumference. I’ve made 2 so far. One with fabric similar to ponte Roma and a 2nd from Jersey. They both turned out well. I like the thinner fabric better because it has more drape and looks more semi-fitted. The ponte is also nice but a little stiff, which gives the Tee a slightly boxy look due to the fabric stiffness. Overall. A+

Nice easy pattern that goes together very well. However the picture gives the impression it is a relaxed fit. It isn’t. It is a very close fit. I made the mistake of not checking the measurements and just went with my usual size 16 and it is way too close fitting. I will make this again but will have to buy a bigger size to get the relaxed fit i want.
