SLEEVED BIB
VELCRO: Place the Velcro pieces as marked on the pattern, ensuring the two sides overlap. Secure the two pieces of Velcro securely to the back neck opening.
POCKET (BINDING): Take the pocket piece, starting at one end of the lining, place the binding right side down onto the wrong side of the straight edge of the pocket. Sew 6mm (1/4”) from the edge. Press seam towards top.
Fold the edge of the binding over so it meets the top of the pocket, press, then wrap the fold over the top so it covers the stitch line and pin into place. Sew the binding down on the right side. Trim off excess binding at each end.
Pin the pocket to the bottom of the front of the bib. Baste around the edge.
SLEEVES: With RST, sew the sleeves to the front at the front arm hole 1cm (3/8”). Neaten with an overlocker or serger, press towards the sleeve.
With RST, sew from the under- arm seam notch to the sleeve opening. Neaten with an overlocker or serger, press towards the back.
Neaten the sleeve hem with an overlocker/serger. Sew the ends of the elastic together, creating a loop.
Turn the sleeve hem to the inside, encasing the elastic inside. Top stitch the sleeve hem from the inside, close to the edge, being careful not to catch the elastic.
MAIN BODY (BINDING): Fold under one end of the binding and press. Starting with the folded end of the binding and under the arm, pin the binding, right side down onto the wrong side of the main fabric. Use plenty of pins, especially around the curves to keep the binding firm. When you return to the start, overlap the end over the folded end by 1cm (3/8”). Trim off the excess binding and stitch in place.
Repeat step 2 to finish the binding around the main body of the bib. Trim off any excess threads and carefully press your new Sleeved Bib.

Take the hood triangle pattern, repeat step 2 for the Sleeved bib, along the hood opening.
Pin the hood to a corner of the body, right sides facing up. Baste into place.
Repeat steps 7 and 2 in the Sleeved Bib. Trim loose threads and carefully press your new Hooded Towel.
