I just wanted to add a photo to my previous review. I recently used this pattern to make a princess dress for my granddaughter. It was just a matter of adding a simple gathered skirt to the top. With the right fabric and trim, the result is very royal indeed.

I like this pattern very much. It is pretty easy to construct; however, I think that there is an error in the instructions on how to finish the neck band. The instructions say to sew the 2 ends of the neck band together before folding it and attaching to the neck. But there is a split in the back of the yolk to allow for an opening for the head to fit through. After watching a few online videos on how to attach a neckband to a t-shirt, I worked out how to finish the neck and the resulting tops turned out very nicely. The pattern instructions need to be corrected. Other than the neckline, the rest of the top went together quickly and neatly.
