I made Harry V-neck Dress pattern in my usual size 10 for the toile….made a very comfy nightie!
I took 1.5” from the shoulders & 2.5cm from the side seams for the actual dress so in reality, I should have sized down.
A beautiful dress.

A straightforward and easy make, resulting in a flattering style. I made in a size 10. The fabric requirements for fold front are 58” width, but I used 45” and cut two pieces and it worked well. With the right material it would be possible to pattern match. I have used a lightweight linen so far but will definitely try other fabrics.

The Harry dress is so comfortable and easy to make. I, too, watched the YouTube channel which made sewing it very straightforward. I made it in a medium-weight, self-striped cotton but I can see that it could be made in a variety of other fabrics that would work very well.

This is a very easy sew (although I did get a bit tricked with the opening for the ties, but managed to sort it out). The dress came together really quickly and I love the shape the elastic inserts give the dress.

I made the dress in size 18, which is my normal size. I made the v-neck version. It is absolutely beautiful and very flattering, leaves you with a really nice silhouette even with an apple shaped body, like me. I followed the youtube tutorial, but I would have been able to make it without a film. I just love it and highly recommend it.

I have made this pattern up in the dress and the top. It goes together beautifully and has lovely details with the pleats on the sleeve and the elastic front and back. This is a very flattering style.
