Choosing your pattern size is the most important step and we will help you determine this with these easy to follow steps.
Place the tape at the edge of the shoulder. Measure along the top of the shoulder blade/across the highest point of the shoulders to the other edge, following the natural slope and allow an extra finger for ease of any movement.
This point is taken as a circumference at your widest point of your upper arm.
This point is taken as a circumference parallel to the floor at the fullest part of your chest.
This point is taken as a circumference and taken at the smallest part of your waist.
This point is taken as a circumference parallel to the floor at the widest part of your hips.

I love the uniqueness of this top and I would have given it 5 stars, had the directions been correct. Following the directions leads you to end up with a main body facing the wrong way and a lot of unpicking to do.
For anyone who buys this, Step #6 reads: With RIGHT SIDES TOGETHER pin the neck line of the main body to the overlay neckline. However, if you sew it this way, you end up with the wrong side of the main body facing out.
The correction should be: Insert the overlay inside the main body with overlay right side facing the WRONG SIDE of the main body. Once sewn, you then flip the main body inside and the right sides will face the correct direction for both the overlay and main body.
Once I figured this out, I ended up with a very nice garment.

This is a lovely top to wear. The comfort of a Tee shirt, but the overlay gives it a new look. I did find attaching the overlay a bit of a challenge, but after some research and thinking, it worked out easily enough. The sizing of Style Arc patterns suits me very well with no changes made. Would recommend this for all sewers.
