Choosing your pattern size is the most important step and we will help you determine this with these easy to follow steps.
Place the tape at the edge of the shoulder. Measure along the top of the shoulder blade/across the highest point of the shoulders to the other edge, following the natural slope and allow an extra finger for ease of any movement.
This point is taken as a circumference at your widest point of your upper arm.
This point is taken as a circumference parallel to the floor at the fullest part of your chest.
This point is taken as a circumference and taken at the smallest part of your waist.
This point is taken as a circumference parallel to the floor at the widest part of your hips.

I have not yet made this up, but I agree with previous reviewers that the instructions are confusing: the pictures and written instructions for attaching the yoke do not correspond. The bib front seems to have far too many layers, if made up in anything but a very thin fabric, which is not what I was looking for.

Definitely not thrilled with the poor quality instructions and graphic images that are impossible to decipher and are not correlated to the steps in the written instructions which are in a font size of about 2. Also, printed pattern does not have a pre-marked grid (which makes for easy pattern adjustments). One last thing, there are much better ways of constructing the bib than the one given in the instructions – however, a better overall pattern design would greatly facilitate an easier bib method.
StyleArc has some interesting designs but unfortunately, I won’t be purchasing any more patterns from them based on my poor experience with this one.

I love this pattern I had a few problem with the front bib…The details on the file is not great but I worked it out…..I didn’t used pockets….I made two tunic and I love them I think I will made a the dress too…I used Rayon fabric made it is size 14 fit perfectly….

I love StyleArc patterns, but you need to be a somewhat experienced sewer. Instructions lack detail about finishing procedures, for instance. I liked the detail of the slits at the wrist on this pattern. But the artwork showing the tunic on the model does not match reality. The slits are on the underarm sleeve, so they do not finish up on the outer side of the wrist as the art work seems to suggest. I thought I’d made a mistake, but no, it was the artwork that was off. The line art on the paperwork, however, is accurate, by the way. Also, I think the shaping of the bustline is more suited to a young figure. The curvature on the bodice creates a rather high bustline and I have a mature figure. I was able to make an adjustment and am pleased with the results. I used linen for this pattern, and love the look.
