I have recently made this pattern up and am happy with the result although I must say the instructions for the twist are not easy to follow and did require several attempts. I complicated it by using a printed linen which was printed on one side only so I did actually change how I did the twist in order to get it to look something similar to how it was intended and not show the wrong side of the fabric. I also replaced the arm binding with a facing as my fabric was a very loosely woven linen. So yes this pattern did take a few attempts to get it looking something like it should and was a little frustrating but I persevered and am very happy with the final result.

This is the first disappointing pattern from Style arc. I found the instructions for the twist difficult to follow and required many efforts and much patience to get it looking like I think it should have been. I succeeded eventually. However, when I tacked up the garment to check for fit it did not look like the semi fitted garment in the image. It looked shapeless and baggy despite the tuck and I put both pattern and fabric in the bin. It was the correct size but it just wasn’t for me.
