This is my first Style Arc pattern and I loved working with it so much! Like others mentioned, the 3/4 length sleeve I found had too much “poof” behind my back arm and elbow, so I took the back bottom curve up about 2.5” and graded the curve back to the side seam and inner elbow curve. Easy adjustment for a more flattering look on my thicker upper arms without taking away from the overall aesthetic of the design. I also found this a very roomy shirt but still quite flattering and stylish. I made the v neck option and raised the opening up about an inch. (I’m a bit short in the torso.) I used a block printed white cotton poplin and it turned out very cute. I can’t wait to wear it this summer and make more tops and dresses with this pattern!

I think next time I will size down as it was very loose and the neck too low, I enjoyed the making but think my fabric was too soft, next time I will make in a linen perhaps.

Maravilloso, super bonito. He cosido el vestido y genial. Suelo tener la talla 6 para el cuerpo y la 8 para pantalones y faldas, pero viendo las medidas finales, la 6 perfecta. Seguro que lo repetiré en otro tejido.

This is a really stylish pattern. I’ve made 2 – one in linen for daytime with the shorter sleeve and one for evening that I made in black lace with a lined body and long sleeve. True to size and length was just right, although the V neck is quite low.

My Zalia top with round neck, sewn in a soft cotton double gauze, is easy to make and comfortable to wear. Next make will be the dress version and tops in other sizes for friends.

Loved making this dress. Made a toile first in a 16 but shoulders were too big so cut a 14 and did a gaping armhole adjustment before cutting my linen fabric. Very pleased with my make. Will make this again in a print.

Great pattern. Added more length to the top to hide tummy.! Decided on the short sleeves and round neck. Sleeve length annoyed me the way it encased my elbow however have had favorable comments. I love the concept of the sleeves. Have made the long sleeve V neck option and LOVE it. Will definitely make another. How about that, 3 of them, I’m on a roll! Thought the binding was a tad narrow which was fiddly maybe that was fabric choice..easy fix by making it a little wider. All in all a big plus.

I really like the Zalia as a top, the sleeves are interesting and it is comfortable to wear. The instructions were detailed enough but not too detailed and it came together quite easily in about 5 hours from start to finish. As a dress, I found the fit to be quite shapeless and I wondered if I had made it too big (even though I found the size fine on the top). I wonder if adding a bust dart would improve the fit. I will definitely make the top version again but may not bother with the dress.

Lovely pattern. Pieces go together effortlessly. Not sure I loved the sleeves, but will still make again. I will also add couple inches to length. This time happy to add length with lace border. Cut on the fold so that didnt need to pattern match. Plan more, and also will make top.

It is a lovely dress and easy to sew. I made it in some linen I had purchased years ago from a market in Provence. Only issue was original line art showed a bust dart but the pattern doesn’t have one. There was so much extra fabric around the armhole I ended up putting in a dart (per the original line art) and thought I’d have a bit of adjusting to do when inserting the sleeve – however, the sleeve fit perfectly without any adjustment!
