Really enjoyed making these pants, very easy and fast construction. I used a Viscose Crepe, they hang and move nicely.
I am not a fan of pockets( don’t need any more bulk on my hips or tummy) so didn’t include them.
The finished length is as long as possible as I am short and want to create an illusion of height.
Love Stylearc patterns.

I made these in Size 18 (go between 18 and 16). Could off gone to 16 however I plan on using these as travel pants so do not mind a little less tightness around waist. This pattern is very long. I am 179 cm and usually add 3 inches to length however I didn’t add any length and still had 1.5in hem. Lovely flowy pants.

I love the design of these wide leg pants! The pockets are a clever design and are deep enough for my hands. I used a lightweight wool and added an inch to the length, but otherwise made a straight size 8. Wonderful drafting- These swish very nicely !

I had a remnant of about 1.5m of linen viscose so I decided to make a shorter pair of these pants, skirt length. Turned out great, really good fit and very comfortable to wear. Added bonus, I can wear these to ride my bike!
Only change I would make next time is to use a slightly narrower elastic, I had to use a 6mm seam to sew on the waistband as I was worried about catching the elastic in the stitching.

Absolutely love the look and comfort of these pants. The instructions have to interface the pockets, but I would also suggest you interface the front pant where the pockets attached. In my first pair I noticed some rippling in this area, but after adding the interfacing it disappeared. You can see pictures and more information on my blog https://josephinesews.blogspot.com/2023/09/stylearcs-londdon-woven-pant-sheer.html.

How Do I Know What Size I Am?
Choosing your pattern size is the most important step and we will help you determine this with these easy to follow steps.
When taking your measurements ensure that you take them against your skin and not over clothing. One can wear a comfortable bra and knickers whilst measuring, as this will provide you with the most accurate measurements.
Tape measure has to sit firmly around the points you are measuring. But be careful not to pull it too tight, as this will give you the incorrect size.
When measuring circumferences (B, C, D, E) it is important to note that the tape measure must remain parallel to the floor. It is sometimes best to take the measurements in front of a mirror; this will help you see the angle of the tape measure.
You will only require the basic body measurements to determine your pattern size which is indicated on our mannequin below:
A. Shoulder Breadth
Place the tape at the edge of the shoulder. Measure along the top of the shoulder blade/across the highest point of the shoulders to the other edge, following the natural slope and allow an extra finger for ease of any movement.
B. Upper Arm Girth
This point is taken as a circumference at your widest point of your upper arm.
C. Bust
This point is taken as a circumference parallel to the floor at the fullest part of your chest.
D. Waist
This point is taken as a circumference and taken at the smallest part of your waist.
E. Hip
This point is taken as a circumference parallel to the floor at the widest part of your hips.

Absolutely love the look and comfort of these pants. The instructions have to interface the pockets, but I would also suggest you interface the front pant where the pockets attached. In my first pair I noticed some rippling in this area, but after adding the interfacing it disappeared.
