Choosing your pattern size is the most important step and we will help you determine this with these easy to follow steps.
Place the tape at the edge of the shoulder. Measure along the top of the shoulder blade/across the highest point of the shoulders to the other edge, following the natural slope and allow an extra finger for ease of any movement.
This point is taken as a circumference at your widest point of your upper arm.
This point is taken as a circumference parallel to the floor at the fullest part of your chest.
This point is taken as a circumference and taken at the smallest part of your waist.
This point is taken as a circumference parallel to the floor at the widest part of your hips.

Very easy & fast to make, perfect fit for my shape. I didn’t make the cuff, just hemmed as usual. Have made two pair and will make more.

Love these pants …just what I wanted. Very easy to construct; made up in a nice ponte fabric.
By matching my body measurements to the pattern and desired ease, got an excellent fit.

Nice looking, easily sewn knit pants. I am pleased with my make, though need to size down next time, I think fabric choice makes a difference.

So comfortable! I had to adjust the front crotch rise as it was a bit high but otherwise a perfect fit. Easy to make, although I will do the waist band a bit differently next time – make a casing rather than stitch the elastic to the band first.

Sizing was way off for me. They were skin tight in the butt and thighs. I ended up taking it out an inch on the sides. The back crotch length was extremely low. I lengthened the back crotch my extending the crotch points out a lot.

This is the best Style Arc pant pattern I’ve made so far. Pants are the trickiest fit for my body, an hourglass with flat tummy, ample caboose and long rise. The first pair, a trial run using an inexpensive fabric from my stash was such a success that I have been wearing them regularly. I made a second pair in Ponte. The faux front pocket is a nice touch. In both cases I skipped the cuff and the back pocket, and next time I’ll narrow the legs a bit.

True to size.
A very easy pattern to put together.
A perfect fit, and very stylish. I made them in a heavy weight Ponte and they sit just perfectly.

Made these in bengaline and they fit well. They are about 7/8 length on me cuffed ( I’m 5’6).i have larger calves. I didn’t need to adjust these as they are a little wider than the Margaret stretch pant ( which I did need to widen in the calves)

I am becoming a big fan of the stylearc pant patterns. I love this style – narrower leg styling but not too narrow and a few options to change it up. Great fit!
